The School of 教育 is a curious community of learners engaged in innovative, cutting-edge teaching practices to support your success. Get ready to be empowered at Heidelberg to impact the lives of K-12 students. Heidelberg education graduates are highly qualified 和 sought out by districts following graduation.

You’ll start earlier 和 spend more time (seven out of eight semesters) observing 和 teaching in real 教室 than students in other college programs. Heidelberg education majors have over 160 hours in a classroom before they start student-teaching. During these experiences you’ll plan 和 teach lessons under the guidance of a mentor or teacher in real classroom conditions to develop your knowledge, 技能, 和 dispositions in preparation for 学生教学.

Licensure Options Include:

  • Primary 教育 (PreK-5)
  • Middle Childhood (Grades 4-9)
  • Adolescent to Young Adult (Grades 7-12)
  • Intervention Specialist (K-12)

TEACH-n-STEAM

'Berg education students join forces with STEAM teachers 和 education professors to host Kindergarten - 5th grade field trips to explore the Heidelberg campus, 教室, 科学实验室.

Learn how to run an elementary Math Camp by collaborating with your classmates to plan 和 facilitate games, 数学的舞蹈, 和 team building exercises four to six times throughout the year.

National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA)

澳门银河网站  participates in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). Ohio became a SARA state in March 2015. 澳门银河网站 became a SARA institution in March 2016. This allows students from NC-SARA approved states to enroll in:
